Medical Respite is short- and medium-term housing for homeless patients recently discharged from the hospital which includes housing, medical care, healthy food, and spiritual care, if desired. The respite program ensures that patients recover from their hospital stay in a safe environment with daily medical support, improving health outcomes and reducing the recurrence of a hospital stay.

Medical Respite is coordinated through Cape Cod Hospital.
