“I just wanted to thank you for putting all of this time into helping me when I know that there are so many more important things that you could be doing. You totally caught me by surprise. I honestly, no matter how much I try, think of the last time anyone did anything of the sort to try to help me. I was really prepared to die on the streets although that’s not what I’ve wanted to do. I can’t ever thank anyone this much. If there was anything that I could ever do to show my appreciation, I would. How about I just do my best to keep myself healthy and sober as much as it is possible? Angela, you are an angel, if no one has told you that lately.”
